When we receive your payment we will email you confirming the dates booked; departure and pick up times; names of the passengers; the amount paid.
Do not email your credit card detail as this is not safe practice. Please us our secure on line format.
Credit Card Payments & Charges
Hinchinbrook Is Cruises accept the following credit & debit cards: Mastercard, Visa & American Express. When using an American Express Cards there is a 1.5% charge.
Full payment by credit card or direct deposit is required to make a reservation. Payment will be listed as Hinchinbrook Island Cruises on your credit card statement.
No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced
Cancellation Fees & Credit/debit Card cancellation Fees
To cancel a booking you must first provide us with evidence that your group camping permits have been cancelled. As only 40 campers are permitted on Hinchinbrook Island cancelling your camping permit allows another tourist to obtain a camping permit. Queensland Parks policy is to cancel your camping permit at least 48 hours prior to your arrival day.
We will charge you the $15 fee, charged to us for cancellation of your Mastercard or Visa card. Refunds can only be applied to the card used to secure the booking. There is no cancel fee if you paid by direct deposit.
Proof of Identity
We may request proof of identity when boarding our vessels and proof of age for minors.
Hinchinbrook Island Cruises reserve the right to refuse access aboard our vessels to persons who we believe may be under the influence of alcohol or elicit drugs. Hinchinbrook Island Cruises will not tolerate aggressive behaviour to staff or other passengers aboard our vessels.
Safety on board Hinchinbrook Island Cruises
For the safety of all passengers you must follow the instructions of staff aboard our vessels including boarding and alighting. You must take note of the whereabouts of all safety gear aboard the vessel as demonstrated to you before departure of our vessels.
Our vessels are equipped and comply with AMSA (Australian Maritime safety authority) regulations. Life jackets aboard our vessels are for persons 40kg or over. Passengers travelling with minors weighing under 40kg must supply their own life jacket/vests.
From time to time Hinchinbrook Island Cruises can make changes to tour dates, prices, inclusions, coverage, age requirements, etc. As a result, Hinchinbrook Island cruises reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service, tour, ticket or product that you have booked with us. In these cases, if you are not satisfied with the alternatives offered you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price.
If you have made a booking where a date has been selected, please note that availability was accurate at the time of booking however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control such as adverse weather conditions. We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with us prior to making other travel arrangements. Under circumstances beyond our control you will be offered an alternative date (subject to availability) or a full refund.
